The Royal Logistic Corps Museum occupies a purpose-built building at Worthy Down, Winchester, following the Corps from Waterloo to Kabul across 300 years of military logistics. Uniforms, medals, ordnance and personal mementoes fill the galleries, alongside the Rolls-Royce staff car used by Field Marshal Montgomery after D-Day, a Boer War train to walk through, EOD robots, a snowmobile and the oldest bread roll in Winchester. Open Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30 to 4pm; entry is free.
