St Peter's Brewery has operated since 1996 from former agricultural buildings beside the moated St Peter's Hall in St Peter South Elmham, near Bungay. It was founded by John Murphy, who had previously built the Interbrand branding consultancy and once owned Plymouth Gin. The brewery produces cask and bottled ales including Organic Best Bitter, Golden Ale, Honey Porter and Plum Porter, alongside a 0.0% ABV range called Without. Its Crafted Black IPA won gold at the International Beer Challenge in 2019. The brewery's oval-necked bottle, modelled on a Georgian gin flask, has become its trademark. St Peter's Hall, parts of which are medieval and encircled by its original moat, houses a bar and restaurant on the same single site, with no other brewery locations.
