Hasnip's Cycles

Hasnip's Cycles has traded from Church Street in central Woodbridge since 1990, selling and servicing bikes for a catchment that runs from Melton and Rendlesham out to Framlingham, Orford and Aldeburgh. The shop carries electric, mountain, hybrid, gravel, folding, heritage and junior bikes from established makers including Raleigh, Claud Butler and Ridgeback, and runs an adjoining workshop offering full and part servicing, puncture repairs, component replacement and accessory fitting such as lights and racks. Over three decades the business has stayed in the same premises, a short walk from the Deben waterfront, building a customer base of local commuters, school-run families and visitors hiring or repairing bikes for the Suffolk coastal path network. It opens six days a week, closed Sundays. Unlike the seasonal cycle-hire operators that serve day-trippers along the coast, Hasnip's operates year-round as a proper repair shop, making it the reference point for bike maintenance in this part of the Deben valley.
