The FramlinghamWine Shop

Richard Taylore runs the Framlingham Wine Shop from a unit in the Old Mews just off Market Hill, having relocated there from the shop's long-standing address on Station Road. The shelves hold several hundred wines, champagnes and sparkling wines alongside fortified wines, beers and spirits, sourced from small producers as well as established regions. Taylore and his staff give advice at the counter rather than leaving customers to browse unassisted, building recommendations around what a customer already likes rather than a fixed tasting menu. The shop takes online orders for click-and-collect or delivery across the local area and the UK mainland, running the same stock list in the shop and online rather than treating the website as a separate business. A stall at Framlingham's weekly market gives the shop a second, outdoor presence in the town centre.
