The Golden Hinde is a full-size, seaworthy reconstruction of Sir Francis Drake's Tudor galleon, launched in 1973 and permanently berthed at St Mary Overie Dock on Bankside since 1996. Visitors can explore the decks on self-guided visits or join costumed guided tours covering Elizabethan seafaring, navigation and daily life aboard a sixteenth-century ship.
