The Westminster Passenger Services Association runs scheduled upriver boat services from Westminster Millennium Pier to Kew, Richmond and Hampton Court, a route it has operated for more than a century. The Association brings together a small number of family-run launch companies, including Colliers Launches and Maynard Launches, rather than being a single large fleet operator, and one of its boats, the M.V. Connaught, has worked this stretch of the Thames for over a hundred years. Sailings run seasonally, roughly April to October, with journey times of around ninety minutes to Kew and up to four hours to Hampton Court, passing Richmond Lock and Teddington Lock on the way. Tickets are sold from the pier itself rather than through a large citywide booking network, and the service remains distinct from the bigger commuter and sightseeing catamaran operators also using the Thames.
