Surveyed
One of Durham's oldest inns, occupying a building on Crossgate that dates from around 1600, on the hill leading up from Framwellgate Bridge. A traditional cask ale pub with an L-shaped bar and upstairs room, it was voted CAMRA's Durham City Pub of the Year in both 2023 and 2024, and still runs a Wednesday quiz and acoustic nights.
