Avonpark House

Avonpark House is a family-run, four-star guest house at 123 Shipston Road, on the south side of Stratford-upon-Avon, run by Maria and Martin. It offers bed-and-breakfast rooms within walking distance of the town centre, the Royal Shakespeare Company theatres and Shakespeare's properties, and roughly a fifteen-minute drive from Warwick Castle and the edge of the Cotswolds. As an independent, single-site guest house rather than a chain hotel, it is run directly by the owners, who handle breakfast and the day-to-day themselves. Rooms are en-suite, and the emphasis is on a small, personally run place to stay rather than a large hotel operation. Parking is available on site, an advantage close to a centre where it is otherwise limited. It suits visitors here for the theatre, the riverside walks and the surrounding Warwickshire and Cotswold countryside.
