Montpellier Gallery occupies a 400-year-old building at 8 Chapel Street, where three adjoining ground-floor rooms open onto a small courtyard. Established in Stratford-upon-Avon since 1991 and run by owner Peter, it is one of England's longer-standing independent retail craft galleries, kept as a single site. It shows and sells work by contemporary British makers: studio ceramics and glass, contemporary jewellery, sculpture, and original paintings and printmaking, with the selection changing as new makers are taken on. Displays rotate through the year alongside the standing stock, and staff handle commissions and gift purchases in person. The premises sit on Chapel Street in the town centre, a short walk from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and Shakespeare's New Place. It opens daytime, Monday to Saturday, from mid-morning to late afternoon, with pieces ranging from affordable small works to larger commissions.
