Buckenham Galleries fills two floors of one of the oldest buildings on Southwold High Street with paintings, ceramics, jewellery, glasswork, sculpture and bespoke furniture from a roster of exhibiting artists. Current work on show includes coated and welded mild steel sculpture, hand-engraved crystal and paintings in oil and acrylic, alongside recently added artists Sophie Elinor Martin and Paul Reid. A framing service runs from the same premises. The gallery opens Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm and closes on Sundays. Visitors move between rooms spread across the building's two storeys, each hung with a different mix of the gallery's represented artists.
