Cinema & Co opened on Castle Street in October 2015 in a former army recruitment office, founded by three friends who wanted Swansea to have a home for films that rarely reach the multiplex circuit. The 56-seat screen is fitted with sofas the founders built themselves from shipping pallets, and a licensed café-bar serves food and drink before and after screenings.
