D&K Meats trades from 13 Ball Street in Poulton-le-Fylde, having moved into the town after Damion and Kelly Crook first opened as butchers in nearby Carleton in 2019. The counter is built around dry-aged Scotch beef that Damion sources directly from Scottish farms, alongside home-made sausages, pies and other cuts prepared on site rather than bought in pre-packed. England's Business Awards named the shop best butcher in Lancashire, a result local press linked to the consistency of the beef and the couple's direct supplier relationships. It runs as a small counter-service operation: staff cut to order and take requests for specific joints or thicknesses rather than stocking a fixed range. Ball Street sits just off Poulton's market square, among a run of other independent food shops in the town centre. The shop is run day to day by Damion and Kelly themselves.
