D. Fecci & Sons is a fish and chip shop and restaurant on Lower Frog Street in Tenby, run by brothers Delmon and Charles Fecci. The business traces back to Guiseppe Fecci, an Italian immigrant who settled in the town, whose family opened a chip shop there in 1935; a separate ice cream parlour was later run by another branch of the family and has since passed to different owners. D. Fecci & Sons fries in beef dripping and offers a wheat-free option, coated in a batter of ground rice and potato and cooked in a dedicated fryer. Fish is bought from sustainable sources and potatoes are Pembrokeshire-grown where possible. The shop serves both takeaway and sit-down trade and has held consistently good Food Standards Agency ratings. Now in its ninth decade of trading under the Fecci name, it remains one of the longest-running independent catering businesses in the town, with the current generation continuing recipes passed down from their grandfather.
