Katherine and Terry Devlin run Elmdon Lodge, a sixteen-room guest house on Elmdon Road in Acocks Green, roughly midway between Birmingham city centre and Solihull. The building sits in a quiet cul-de-sac a few minutes' walk from Acocks Green railway station, which connects directly to Birmingham Moor Street and on to Solihull. Rooms are ensuite, and guests have use of a landscaped garden and patio, a lounge with books and games, and private parking. Breakfast is served each morning in the lodge's dining room. The Devlins position the guest house for both business travellers and visitors heading to the NEC and Birmingham Airport, both a short drive away, with complimentary wifi throughout.
