Jim and Rhona Wallace run Foresters House, a Victorian villa on Station Road in the conservation village of Inverkip, as a bed and breakfast with four categories of room: a compact Tiny House, a Double, a Twin and a Deluxe Twin. The building sits close to the Clyde Coast, about ten minutes from the ferries serving Argyll and the islands, with a direct rail connection into Glasgow in under half an hour and Glasgow Airport around thirty minutes by car. Breakfast, wifi and parking are included in the room rate. The Wallaces have built a reputation locally for knowing the area well, offering advice on walking routes and ferry times to guests arriving without a car. Rooms are let on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with no restaurant on site beyond the morning meal.
