A double-track heritage railway running steam and vintage diesel services between Loughborough Central, Quorn & Woodhouse, Rothley and Leicester North. Operated by Great Central Railway Plc, incorporated in 1976, it is described as the only double-track main-line preservation railway in the country, based at Loughborough's Great Central Road station.
