Hutchinson Hobbs occupies a former golf shop at Holdenfields Farm outside Yarm, converted and extended by Jenny Hutchinson and her husband Barry into a farm shop and butchers. Barry and his father Alan run the butchery side, hanging and preparing meat on site, while Jenny and Barry's mother Anita manage the shop floor and its in-house kitchen, which makes pies, quiches, ready meals and other deli dishes daily. The shop also carries a bakery counter, a deli section and a range of local drinks, and employs eighteen staff across the three departments. The pink tractor on the company's branding was designed by Jenny and Barry's eldest daughter, Jessica, when she was five years old. The business, incorporated in 2014, continues to trade from the same Castlelevington site on which it began.
