Kentwell Hall is a moated Tudor manor near Long Melford, privately owned by the Phillips family since 1971 and still lived in by them. The grounds include a rare-breeds farm and a 15th-century moat house with a working bakery and brewhouse. Costumed volunteers stage Tudor re-creation events each summer.
