Kinnaird Butchers opened in Kinnaird Village in June 2022, set up from scratch by Gavin and Karl, with Gavin bringing experience from running Elderslie Butchers near Paisley. The shop dry-ages its own steaks on site and sells Scottish beef, lamb and pork alongside a deli counter of pies, cooked meats and ready meals aimed at families wanting a quicker midweek dinner. Burgers are made to their own recipe and sold both fresh and frozen. In the 2026 Scottish Craft Butchers competition, the shop's ribeye steak took the Diamond award for best in category, a result staff still mention to customers browsing the counter. Click and collect ordering runs alongside walk-in trade, and the deli stocks a small range of local condiments and preserves alongside the meat.
