Torwood Garden Centre has grown from greenhouses first planted in 1942, when Jamie's great-grandfather John Stevenson Senior began growing fruit and vegetables under glass at Torwood. The business is still family owned and run, and has expanded over the generations from growing produce into a full garden centre at Central Park on Bellsdyke Road, Larbert. It sells plants, gifts, clothing, footwear, garden furniture, barbecues and tools, alongside a food hall, landscaping supplies and a pet shop. Blossoms restaurant on site serves food until mid-afternoon. The centre is dog friendly and has level access throughout. It remains a single-site, family-run business rather than part of a larger garden centre group. Open Monday to Saturday 9am to 5.30pm, Sunday 10am to 5.30pm; the restaurant kitchen closes earlier, at 3.45pm.
