Little Penybont Arms is a micropub on Penybont Road in Pencoed, run by Stacey Roberts and her husband Gareth, who also own the Steak & Stamp restaurant next door under the same roofline. The pub keeps to a simple format: a changing beer served straight from the cask, a second beer often alongside it, a rotating list of ciders, and a notably large selection of single malt whiskies and gins for a room of its size. There is no fruit machine or television, and the small beer garden at the back is dog-friendly. Drinks ordered at the pub can also be taken through to Steak & Stamp next door, linking the two businesses for anyone eating a meal. It opens from mid-afternoon rather than lunchtime, closed on Tuesdays and Sundays.
