Maple Cottage is a bed and breakfast on Hall Crescent in Gullane, run by owner Heather Baxter for more than ten years. It sits within two minutes' walk of Gullane's shops, cafés and bars, and close to the area's golf courses, including Muirfield, which accounts for much of its custom. The business is a genuinely small-scale operation rather than a managed guest house, with Baxter handling bookings and breakfast service personally and a resident cocker spaniel, Bailey, an established feature of the stay.
