Metcalfes Home Hardware occupies 51/52 High Street in Tring, a traditional family-run hardware and ironmongery shop established in 1948 by Frederick William Metcalfe and his three sons, Ronald, Robert and Peter. Peter, the youngest, later took it over; his youngest son David now runs the business with two partners, Joanna Lace and Ruth Trimmer. Hardware, housewares, cook shop and garden departments, Dulux paint mixing, loose nails and screws, special orders and local deliveries.
