Morgan Edwards

Morgan Ward and Edward Speakman met at university and founded Morgan Edwards in 2018 after growing frustrated at how little good wine was available locally. Morgan had worked in banking in London before returning to Cheshire; Edward brought experience from an auction house's wine and spirits department, including cellar valuations. The pair started out trading from a stall in Knutsford Market Hall before moving to a shop on King Street in 2022, where they now stock fine and rare bottles from red wines and English sparkling to vintage port and cognac, priced from under thirty pounds to several thousand. Beyond retail, Morgan Edwards runs a wine club, hosts tastings on themes such as Burgundy or Italian wine, and offers valuation and probate advice for private cellars.
