David Ealand bought Old Luxters, then a pig farm, in 1980, and the Ealand family still owns and runs it. The first vines went into the ground in 1982 on slopes overlooking the Hambleden Valley, and the farm now combines a vineyard, brewery and B&B under one roof. Guests stay in four rooms in the farmhouse, each looking over the vineyard, courtyard or gardens, or can book one of five rooms in the buildings around it, including a pool house with access to an outdoor pool heated from May to September. Breakfast is served in the farmhouse using produce from the estate. Full house lets are available for groups wanting the whole farmhouse.
