Former landlord Richard, together with brothers Pete and Danny Gilbert, bought The Potters Arms from its brewery owner and converted the Winchmore Hill pub into an independent freehouse. The bar keeps Rebellion IPA as a regular pour alongside three rotating guest ales, typically from Chiltern or Tring, and the pub's inglenook fireplace remains a fixture from before the change of ownership. Four en-suite letting rooms sit above the bar, and a comedy night runs on the last Thursday of every month with a boxed meal included in the ticket price. The kitchen serves lunch and dinner most days, with Sunday service ending mid-afternoon rather than running into the evening. Twenty gravelled parking spaces sit alongside informal parking opposite the village green.
