Penn StreetGallery

Penn Street Gallery is an independent commercial art gallery in a converted works unit at Penn Street, on the wooded edge of Amersham. Founded in 2022 by the artist Paul Bell, it shows and sells contemporary painting, sculpture, photography and ceramics by both established and emerging artists, changing the hang regularly through the year. A working artist's studio at the rear lets visitors see pieces not currently on display and get a sense of how the work is made, and the gallery hosts private views and framing alongside its selling exhibitions. It is deliberately pitched away from the formality of a city-centre gallery, with no appointment needed during opening hours. The gallery trades as a single site and is open Thursday to Saturday, with Sundays by arrangement. It sits a short drive from Amersham Old Town and Penn village.
