Southwold Boating Lakeand Tearoom

Southwold Boating Lake and Tearoom sits on North Road, where pedalos and rowing boats circle a lake overlooked by a cafe terrace. The tearoom serves breakfasts, light lunches and homemade cakes alongside hot and cold drinks, with outdoor seating facing the water and gardens set aside for wildlife. A mini golf course, ice cream hut and model yacht pond share the site. New custodians took over the business in 2024, and guide dogs are welcome throughout the grounds. The cafe sits on the edge of Southwold's common, a short walk from the pier and the town's beach huts.
