Springfield Farm Shop, Butchers and Deli is a single-site operation at East Charleton, overlooking Frogmore Creek in the South Hams. It is run by the Tucker family, whose forebears have farmed near East Prawle since 1710 across six generations; Michael Tucker's great-grandparents kept a shop on Smith Street in Dartmouth in the early 1900s. The shop sells beef, lamb and pork reared on the family's own land, prepared at an on-site butchery counter, alongside a deli offering cheeses, preserves and baked goods from other South Devon producers. Fresh seasonal vegetables, milk and bread are also stocked, much of it sourced from neighbouring farms. A small tearoom overlooks the creek, giving shoppers somewhere to sit with a coffee.
