Jon Leighton planted the first vines at Stanlake Park in 1979, calling the site Thames Valley Vineyard before it took its current name. The estate has grown to more than fifteen acres and upward of ten thousand vines on the B3018 outside Twyford, with a winery capable of processing over two hundred tonnes of fruit a year. Since 2019 the vineyard has been run by winemaker Nico Centonze and Natalia Pezzone, who took over production of the estate's still and traditional-method sparkling wines. The range spans bacchus and pinot noir through to an Italian-inspired collection of fiano and primitivo rosé. A cellar shop and wine bar sit alongside the vines, and three guest lodges offer overnight stays on site. Tastings and vineyard tours run through the booking calendar, past vines now well past their fortieth year.
