Carol and Jules Lee bought Stonewater House on Lamlash's Shore Road in 2018 and relaunched it as Arran's first plant-based bed and breakfast, having adopted a vegan diet themselves the previous year. Rooms are en suite with king, double or twin beds, and the breakfast room looks out over Lamlash pier and the Holy Isle beyond. Breakfast, and the fridge guests can help themselves from, is entirely vegan, in keeping with the owners' membership of the Vegan Trades Union. A drying cabinet for wet outdoor gear and a lockable shed for bikes suit walkers and cyclists using Arran's coastal path. Parking for two cars is available on a steep driveway, with further on-street parking nearby. The property holds a Short-Term Let Licence from North Ayrshire Council, and Carol and Jules run the B&B themselves rather than through outside staff.
