The Isle of Arran Heritage Museum occupies a former croft and smiddy at Rosaburn on the northern edge of Brodick, using a farmhouse, cottage, laundry and stable to display objects covering the island's farming, geology and social history. It is run by around thirty volunteers under the Isle of Arran Museum Trust, a registered charity, rather than a national heritage body, and holds a weekly genealogy session for visitors researching island ancestors. A café on the same site serves food in one of the older buildings.
