Tenby Brewing Co has produced beer from a unit at The Salterns industrial estate in Tenby since 2015, when it was set up by a group of friends who left other careers to brew full time. The brewery uses Pembrokeshire water and runs largely on power from its own solar array, and its beers, including the pale ale Son Of A Beach, are designed, brewed and packaged entirely on site rather than under contract elsewhere. Cans and kegs go out to pubs and shops across West Wales, and the brewery also pours through the Sandbar Tap and Kitchen on Upper Frog Street, its associated bar in the town centre. The range runs from session pales to stronger seasonal styles, changing through the year rather than sticking to a fixed core list.
