Tanya and Zoe run The Potthouse Collective from a unit on the Crooks Industrial Estate in Cheltenham, continuing work started by two earlier ventures: a pottery studio that operated in Woodmancote for seventeen years, and Nau Arts, a collective of local artists. The studio operates as not-for-profit, putting income back into keeping classes accessible rather than into shareholder returns. Beginners can book one-off wheel-throwing sessions or longer courses, while more experienced potters rent studio membership to work independently between classes. Amy leads the throwing teaching, and the space also hosts pottery parties for birthdays and hen groups. The result reads less like a retail craft experience and more like a working community studio that happens to welcome visitors.
