The Yew Tree stands in the village of Lower Wield in rural Hampshire, about 20 minutes' drive from Alton, Basingstoke and Winchester and ten from Four Marks. Matt and Jas Clarke own and operate it: he has cooked for over 30 years, starting at the Ritz in London, while she has managed front of house internationally for two decades. Home-cooked, locally sourced seasonal food, and dogs are welcome — Juno has held table 4, nearest the biscuits, since early 2022.
