At Cultra, Holywood, the Ulster Transport Museum is one of four museums looked after by National Museums NI, custodians of 1.4 million objects spanning art, history and natural sciences. The subject is transport and social change in this part of the world since the birth of the modern era. Tickets are booked in advance. Check the museum's own site for opening hours: those published centrally are head office reception hours, 08:00–16:00 Monday to Friday.
