Mark Vince runs West End Cafe at 17 Broad Street in Llandovery, a fixture on the town's main road for more than 30 years. The kitchen bakes its own bread daily, sourdough, white, granary and wholemeal loaves and baps, and turns out cakes and desserts on site. Meat for carveries, pies and pasties comes from Berllan Penlan Farm nearby. The week runs to a set rhythm: pie night on Monday, kids eat free on Tuesday, curry on Wednesday, burgers on Thursday and fish on Friday. Breakfast through to evening meals cover vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, with takeaway and click-and-collect available. The cafe opens daily from 8am to 8pm.
