Yarm Distillery

Yarm Distillery was set up in 2018 by the Marsden family and is run by Sam Marsden and master distiller Richard Marsden. In January 2020 it moved to a unit on the Durham Lane Industrial Park at Eaglescliffe, on the edge of Yarm, which gave room for the still, a shop, a gin school and tasting events. The house range runs from a London dry through flavoured and sloe gins to sourced and blended rums, and the distillery released its first English single malt whisky in June 2023. Visitors can book onto gin schools and tasting sessions or buy direct from the on-site shop. It remains an independent, family-owned operation working from the single Eaglescliffe site near Yarm.
