Andrew Lamputt set up his silversmith and jewellery workshop in Hereford in 1985, and the business continues to trade four decades later from premises on St Owen Street. The workshop restores antique and traditional silverware and jewellery, remakes pieces to customers' specifications, and manufactures modern and reproduction silverware alongside new jewellery commissions. Restoration work sits alongside bespoke commissions, with pieces made and repaired on the premises rather than sent elsewhere. Its trade is understood to draw customers from across Herefordshire and the neighbouring counties of Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Shropshire. The business is run as a single, family-owned workshop from this one Hereford address, without other branches or retail outlets in the region.
