Anglesey Adventures runs coasteering, sea kayaking, climbing and gorge-scrambling trips from a base at Porth Dafarch on Holy Island, just outside Holyhead. Co-owners Stephen Miles and Lynn Ensoll set the company up more than 20 years ago, with Stephen overseeing water safety and technical operations and Lynn running admin and client bookings; the company describes itself as the first coasteering operator in north Wales. Sessions run from half a day to multi-day courses and take in the cliffs, gullies and sea caves along Anglesey's coastline, with kit and safety cover provided throughout. The Porth Dafarch site, known as Anglesey Outdoors, also has camping, dormitory, pod and yurt accommodation for groups staying to do more than one activity. Bookings run for individuals, families and groups, and the company operates through the main season from spring to autumn, weather and sea conditions permitting.
