Toni and Sally run Aqua Bay from a Victorian building on Herne Bay's Central Parade, one of the few traditional guest houses left on a seafront where most B&Bs have been replaced by short-let flats and Airbnbs. Two Seaview Family Rooms face the water at the front, with further standard rooms set back from the sea. Breakfasts are cooked to order and include home-made fish cakes and kippers sourced from Whitstable harbour, alongside the usual full English options. In summer, the guest house also serves traditional afternoon cream teas. Aqua Bay holds a five-star food hygiene rating and a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, reflecting its standing as one of the last traditional guest houses on this stretch of seafront.
