Ashfield House is a bed and breakfast on Summers Fold, a private lane just off Grassington's main square, run by hosts Lynne and Steve. The Grade II listed limestone building dates to 1604, originally built as a row of lead miners' cottages, said to be the first all-stone houses in the village. Seven en suite bedrooms and a two-storey Garden Suite are furnished with Egyptian cotton linen and toiletries from The Bath House; a self-catering cottage adjoins the main house. Breakfast is cooked to order from locally sourced ingredients and served in the dining room, and a serve-yourself honesty bar operates in the lounge. The walled garden and on-site parking are unusual for central Grassington. The house appeared in the television adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small, used as the setting for a proposal scene across three series.
