A riverside pub at Bartons Lane, Old Basing, outside Basingstoke, in a converted seventeenth-century water mill with remnants of a working water wheel. Inside: wooden floors, exposed beams and log fires. The adjacent Millstone restaurant has its own entrance for weddings and private functions, and twelve dog-friendly ensuite bedrooms sit a short walk away.
