Castle View is a small guest house in a 17th-century listed building on Crossgate, one of the older streets in the centre of Durham and a few minutes' walk across the river from the market place. The bedrooms are en-suite, some looking towards the castle and cathedral and others over Crossgate itself, and breakfast is cooked to order for guests.
