Chapel Gallery

The Chapel Gallery occupies a converted 19th-century chapel on Main Street in Glasshouses, near Pateley Bridge, where painter Neil Simone shows and sells his work. The gallery holds a permanent collection of his original oil paintings alongside signed limited-edition prints, miniatures and cards, displayed across several rooms including a dedicated originals room. Simone's paintings depict Yorkshire Dales landscapes and rural scenes in a mixed-media style he describes as interconnected, building layered compositions from oil and other materials. The building retains its chapel form, with the artist's studio operating alongside the display space. The gallery opens Thursday to Sunday, 11am to 4pm, and private viewings outside these hours can be arranged directly with Simone by telephone or email. Prints and cards are available for visitors who cannot afford an original.
