Chris Wildman runs Town End Farm Shop from his family's holding at Airton, in Malhamdale, selling grass-fed lamb, traditional and rare-breed cattle, and rare-breed pork raised on the farm. The shop's own butchery produces Wildman Charcuterie and a Yorkshire chorizo alongside cured bacon, gammon and pâté made on site. Upstairs, a tearoom serves home-baked scones, soups and daily specials, plus a small selection of local pottery, crafts and books. The shop sources cheese and other goods from neighbouring Dales producers to fill out the counter. It opens Tuesday to Saturday from 9.30am to 5pm, and Sundays and bank holiday Mondays from 10am to 5pm, closing on other Mondays.
