Cornish Wave has run surf lessons and coasteering trips from 40 Fore Street in Newquay since founder Jorrin Massingham established the school in 2012, after two decades working in activity centres abroad. Instructors hold ISA Level 2 or above qualifications and RLSS lifeguard training, and the school is one of only two operators licensed to teach on Towan Beach, alongside sessions run at Fistral. Groups are capped at eight for lessons covering surfing, coasteering along the coastline's caves and ledges, kayaking and paddleboarding. The business also hires equipment and runs multi-day surf camps. Cornish Wave operates from its single Fore Street base, holds Surfing England approval and AALA licensing, and carries public liability cover through Activities Industry Mutual.
