Creates occupies a Georgian building on Church Street in Monmouth, run since 2020 by Kenny and Ben as a cafe by day and a bistro by night, with eight en-suite bedrooms above. Head chef Russell cooks a menu drawing on Mediterranean ingredients, served in a dining room that doubles as breakfast space for overnight guests each morning. The pair took on the property with no prior restaurant ownership experience, converting it into a small boutique bistro and B&B under one roof. The business drew wider attention after winning a heat of Channel 4's Four in a Bed. Bookings are taken directly by phone or through the site, and the bistro operates themed dinner nights through the year alongside its regular menu of daily specials.
