Foley Oatcakes has traded on King Street in Fenton since 1966, hand-baking Staffordshire oatcakes and pikelets to a house recipe, as most oatcake shops in the city keep their own. Kinga and Matteo Loforte ran the business until selling it, equipment and recipe included, earlier in 2025. Tony and Andrea Davies took over that summer with their son Daniel; the family, from Longton, had been regular customers for years before buying the shop. The King Street premises open Wednesday to Sunday, and a stall at Longton Market runs on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Daniel Davies has said the family plans to expand the oatcake stalls further across Staffordshire while keeping the traditional method and fillings unchanged.
