Cannonball Records

Cannonball Records occupies a unit in the Longton Exchange, buying and selling vinyl, CDs, comics and film memorabilia under one roof. The shop describes itself as the only one in Staffordshire combining all three collecting categories, and staff will visit customers' homes to value and buy whole record collections rather than requiring people to box everything up and carry it in. Genres run from rock and soul to jazz, punk, folk and classical, with stock turning over quickly on the secondhand side. Comics are mostly Marvel titles, shelved separately from the vinyl racks, and a cabinet near the counter holds vintage toys and film props bought from house clearances. The shop also organises record fairs across Staffordshire, Shropshire and the wider Midlands, taking a stall itself alongside other dealers rather than only trading from the Longton unit.
